Cheryl Gelley, Ph.D., NCSP

Licensed Psychologist and Nationally Certified School Psychologist

Dr. Cheryl Gelley earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Kentucky and graduated Summa Cum Laude with Departmental Honors in Psychology. Dr. Gelley earned her Master of Arts, Education Specialist, and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in School Psychology from the University of South Florida, which is accredited by the American Psychological Association and approved by the National Association of School Psychologists. In graduate school, Dr. Gelley was awarded the Florida Association of School Psychologists Graduate Studies Award, which is awarded annually to the top entry-level graduate student in the state.

Dr. Gelley is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Florida Psychological Association, and the Florida Association of School Psychologists. Dr. Gelley is a trainer of Youth Mental Health First Aid and has trained hundreds of individuals in the state of Florida. She has also previously served on the Florida Association of School Psychologists Executive Board as Conference Co-Chair and Diversity Chair. Dr. Gelley is also an Adjunct Instructor at the University of South Florida and has taught graduate-level courses in the Department of Educational and Psychological Studies (Child and Adolescent Behavior Disorders, Advanced Seminar in School Psychology).

Dr. Gelley has resided in the Tampa Bay Area for over 10 years and enjoys relaxing on the beach, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
