Cheryl Gelley, Ph.D., NCSP

Licensed Psychologist and Nationally Certified School Psychologist

Dr. Cheryl Gelley earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Kentucky and graduated Summa Cum Laude with Departmental Honors in Psychology. Dr. Gelley earned her Master of Arts, Education Specialist, and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in School Psychology from the University of South Florida, which is accredited by the American Psychological Association and approved by the National Association of School Psychologists. Dr. Gelley is also a former recipient of the Florida Association of School Psychologists’ Graduate Studies Award.

Dr. Gelley is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Florida Psychological Association. Dr. Gelley has trained hundreds of individuals in the state of Florida in Youth Mental Health First Aid and has taught graduate-level courses in the Department of Educational and Psychological Studies (Child and Adolescent Behavior Disorders, Advanced Seminar in School Psychology) at the University of South Florida. Dr. Gelley has also previously served as Conference Co-Chair and Diversity Chair on the Florida Association of School Psychologists’ Executive Board and Secretary for the Bay Chapter of the Florida Psychological Association.

Dr. Gelley has resided in the Tampa Bay Area for over 15 years and enjoys relaxing on the beach, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
